INDICATIONS AND USAGE Disulfiram is an aid in the management of selected chronic alcohol patients who want to remain in a state of enforced sobriety so that supportive and psychotherapeutic treatment may be applied to best advantage. Disulfiram is not a cure for alcoholism. When used alone, without proper motivation and supportive therapy, it is unlikely that it will have any substantive effect on the drinking pattern of the chronic alcoholic.

OVAL WHITE Mylan DS 500

HOW SUPPLIED Disulfiram Tablets, USP are available containing 250 mg or 500 mg of disulfiram, USP. The 250 mg tablets are white to off-white, round, unscored tablets debossed with M on one side of the tablet and DS over 2 on the other side. They are available as follows: NDC 0378-4140-01 bottles of 100 tablets NDC 0378-4140-05 bottles of 500 tablets The 500 mg tablets are white to off-white, scored (functional scoring), modified capsule-shaped tablets debossed with MYLAN on one side of the tablet and DS to the left of the score and 500 to the right of the score on the other side. They are available as follows: NDC 0378-4141-01 bottles of 100 tablets NDC 0378-4141-05 bottles of 500 tablets Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F).
